PESHAWAR: The enchanting beauty of winter descended upon Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the region experienced its inaugural snowfall, transforming picturesque locales like Kalam, Chitral, Malam Jabba, Naran Kaghan, Guliyat, and other elevated areas into a pristine white panorama, as reported by the spokesperson of the Tourism Department.
The arrival of the first snowfall acted as a magnet for both locals and tourists alike, drawing them to the breathtaking snow-covered landscapes. Tourism hotspots witnessed an influx of visitors eager to relish the seasonal spectacle, heralding the commencement of the winter tourism season in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Recognizing the surge in tourism activities during this period, Muhammad Saad, the spokesperson for the Tourism Department, shared insights into the proactive measures taken to ensure a seamless experience for visitors. In a bid to enhance tourist facilitation, youths from the Tourism Police have been strategically deployed to various destinations, poised to provide the best possible services to those venturing into the snowy realms.
However, cautionary advice was also extended by the authorities to all winter enthusiasts. Tourists are urged to take precautionary measures before embarking on their snowy escapades, including equipping their vehicles with chains to navigate the snow-laden terrains safely.
The inaugural snowfall sets the stage for a season of enchantment and beckons travellers to immerse themselves in the magical allure of winter in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
