WEB DESK: Iqra Aziz recently spilled the beans on the lighter side of the set, recounting playful moments with co-star Talha Chahoor, and her motherhood journey.
During her interview on BBC, Iqra Aziz discussed women’s portrayal in dramas, especially post-marriage.
She passionately highlighted the importance of depicting that a woman’s story doesn’t conclude after tying the knot. She hinted at the evolving storyline in her current project, shedding light on the period when a woman navigates love, adjusts to new life, and temporarily puts her dreams on hold.

Delving into her character Mannat, Aziz revealed a personal connection, expressing how she relates to Mannat’s struggles and ambitions.
“I relate a lot to the ambitious and happy soul girl part of the story. I have learned a lot from Mannat,” she shared.
The interview took a personal turn when Aziz discussed her hiatus from the industry after the birth of her son, Kabir. Reflecting on the emotional challenges of leaving her child for work, she admitted, “The one thing which was difficult for me was to leave Kabir after his birth.”
Addressing social media rumors about taking a back seat in her career post-Kabir, Aziz clarified, “I did not want to make the peak of my career an overly ambitious thing. This is my choice. I have to give some time to my life.”
