10-member Sindh cabinet sworn in

KARACHI: The Sindh province inaugurated its new 10-member provincial cabinet at a ceremony held at the Sindh Governor House.
The oath of office was administered to the provincial ministers by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. Notable dignitaries, including Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, attended the ceremony.
Among those sworn in were Sharjeel Inam Memon, Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Sardar Ali Shah, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Sardar Mohammad Baksh Mahar, Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, Ali Hassan Zardari, and Jam Khan Shoro.
While most of these ministers previously served in Chief Minister Shah’s cabinet, their portfolios have been rearranged for this tenure. Sharjeel Inam Memon has been appointed as the Minister for Transport, Mass Transit, Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics, according to a spokesperson from the CM House.
Dr Azra has been assigned the role of Minister for Health and Population Welfare, while Syed Nasir Hussain Shah will oversee the Energy, Planning, and Development ministries.
Sardar Ali Shah has taken charge of the Education, Literacy, College Education, and Mines and Minerals Development ministries, while Saeed Ghani has been appointed as the Minister for Local Government (LG), Housing Town Planning, Public Health Engineering, and Rural Development. Jam Khan Shoro will head the Irrigation and Food ministries.
Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar will serve as the Minister for Home, Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Criminal Prosecution in the newly-formed provincial cabinet.
