11 policemen martyred, seven injured by bandits attack in Kacaha area

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Bandits attacked police in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan, resulting in the martyrdom of 11 officers and injuries to seven other.
According to police officials, several members of the police convoy also went missing. The injured and martyred officers were transported to the Sheik Zaid Hospital for treatment and medico-legal formality.
Police said that the robbers attacked the police vehicles with rockets, causing both police mobiles to get stuck in rainwater.
Punjab Police Inspector Usman Anwar stated that information about the Rahim Yar Khan attack was being gathered, and a heavy police force has been dispatches to the area.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack on police vehicles in the Kacha area and expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the 11 police personnel. He paid tribute to the martyred officers and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
Naqvi also extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyred officers, expressing his solidarity with them and saluting the bravery of the policemen who achieved the high rank of martyrdom.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the bandit attack on the police convoy in Rahim Yar Khan.
He expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of the police officers in the attack. He offered prayers for the martyrs and wished patience and strength for their families. The prime minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured officials.
He directed that the best medical facilities be provided to the injured policemen and issued an order for immediate and effective action against the attackers in the Kacha area.
Additionally, he instructed authorities to identify those responsible for the attack and ensure they are brought to justice.
He acknowledged the bravery of the police officers and men who fight against criminals and saboteurs, often risking their lives. “The entire nation, including myself, pays tribute to the courageous and dutiful officers and men of the police,” he stated.
