PTDC to launch cleanliness awareness campaign at tourist spots

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has revealed plans to kickstart a comprehensive cleanliness awareness campaign across various tourist destinations throughout the nation.

This initiative is geared toward establishing a clean and verdant atmosphere at these attractions to draw the maximum influx of tourists. A spokesperson for PTDC indicated that the campaign’s launch is imminent, involving volunteer efforts to collect items such as wrappers, shopping bags, beverage bottles, and disposable tableware, which are major contributors to pollution.

The campaign will not only concentrate on physically enhancing cleanliness but also on enlightening the public about the significance of maintaining tidiness and refraining from littering at tourist sites.
