19 injured in Murree bus accident

MURREE: Atleast 19 people were injured in a passenger bus accident near the Chillagah of Baba Lal Shah in New Murree, rescue officials said on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122, 12 of the injured are in critical condition and were shifted to the Civil Hospital Murree after receiving first aid on the spot.

Motorway Police issues advisory as Eid holidays conclude

The passengers were reportedly travelling from Lahore to attend the urs (annual religious gathering) of Baba Lal Shah. All of the injured belong from Lahore, according to rescue officials.

Initial investigations suggest that the accident in Murree occurred due to overspeeding, officials added.
