According to sources, the new vehicles are part of larger reforms aimed at eradicating criminal elements and ensuring peace in Islamabad.
The Toyota Hilux, popularly known as “Dala,” has long carried cultural weight in Pakistan. Initially prized by feudal elites for its rugged performance in rural and mountainous terrain, it has now become a common sight in cities. In recent years, the vehicle has transformed into a mark of power and affluence, often seen escorting the convoys of newly wealthy business owners.
