33 PAS, PSP, FSP officers promoted to grade 22 after two-year hiatus

PESHAWAR: The High-Powered Selection Board (HPSB) has recommended the promotion of 33 grade-21 officers to grade-22 after a two-year hiatus.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired the 29th meeting of the HPSB, established for the promotion of the country’s top-level bureaucrats.

The board reviewed promotion cases of dozens of grade-21 officers from various services. 

Following consultations and deliberations, the board approved the promotion of 33 officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) and the Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP) from grade-21 to grade-22. 

In the PAS group, 19 officers recommended for promotion to grade-22 are Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, Ambreen Raza, Ali Tahir, Usman Akhtar Bajwa, Humair Karim, Atta-ur-Rehman, Musaddiq Ahmed Khan, Rashid Mehmood, Momin Agha, Nadeem Mehboob, Mohiuddin Wani, Dawood Bareech, Shakeel Ahmed, Saadia Sarwat Javed, Asad-ur-Rehman Gillani, Ali Sarfaraz Hussain, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Nabeel Ahmed Awan, and Ahmed Raza Sarwar.

Similarly, the board approved the promotion of the PSP officers to grade-22, who are B.A. Nasir, Ghulam Nabi Memon, Farooq Mazhar, Imran Yaqub Minhas, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Zubair Hashmi, Shehzad Sultan and Tahir Khan. 

In the FSP group, the officers who were promoted to grade-22 promotions are Ahmed Naseem Warraich, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Ahsan Raza Shah, and Faisal Niaz Tirmizi. 

According to sources, the Establishment Division is expected to issue an official notification regarding these promotions in the coming days.
