5.4 magnitude earthquake jolts parts of Balochistan

QUETTA: A 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Balochistan in the early hours of Tuesday, around 5:05 am Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake has a shallow depth of 10 kilometres.

Widespread tremors were felt across different regions of Balochistan, including Pashin and Dalbandin along the Pakistan-Iran border.

Despite the widespread tremors, authorities did not issue any alerts following the quake. As of now, there have been no reports of damages resulting from the earthquake.
