ISLAMABAD: In the wake of Eid ul Adha, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad has ordered establishing designated cattle markets at various locations across the city.
The decision aims to ensure convenient access to cattle markets for residents of Islamabad. The five selected sites include I-15, Sangjani Margalla Avenue, Zia Mosque, Sultana Foundation Lahtrar Road, and Jhagi Stop Behara Kahu.
The primary objective behind setting up these cattle markets is to provide relief to the people, as the DC. The move is expected to streamline the process of buying and selling cattle, especially during the upcoming festive season.
Starting from Sunday, the allocated areas will be transformed into organized cattle markets, equipped with necessary facilities. The authorities have planned to provide shaded spaces, water, and other amenities to ensure the comfort of both the cattle and market visitors.
