Swift judicial reforms urged to address under-trial prisoners’ plight
Nazar Abbas, who has recently been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), faces allegations related to case scheduling.
The controversy arose when Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s constitutional bench issued a contempt of court notice against him for allegedly listing constitutional bench cases before a regular bench.
The Supreme Court has ordered Abbas to appear in person to address the charges.
