Afghanistan’s acting ambassador, FM meet over Pakistan relations

KABUL: The Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan has released a statement regarding recent developments in its relations with Pakistan, as conveyed by Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

According to a notification issued on Sunday, Mawlawi Sardar Ahmed Shakib, the acting head of the Afghan embassy in Pakistan, held discussions with Afghan Foreign Minister Muttaqi regarding recent interactions with Pakistani officials. During these deliberations, Shakib provided detailed reports on his meetings, initiating an in-depth dialogue on the subject matter.

Following the briefing, Foreign Minister Muttaqi issued necessary directives to the Acting Head of the Afghan embassy in Islamabad, addressing the prevailing situation and the state of relations between the two nations.
