Aleem made president of Tareen’s IPP

Former Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader and senior politician Jahangir Khan has announced the names of the office-bearers of his newly-formed Ishethkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

Real estate and media tycoon Abdul Aleem Khan has been appointed as the president while Aamer Mehmood Kiyani has been chosen to serve as the secretary general.

Meanwhile former close aide of PTI chief Awn Chaudhary has been appointed as additional secretary general and spokesperson of the party and its chairman.

Breaking his hiatus on the social media platform, Tareen took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to make the announcements.

I am pleased to announce Abdul Aleem Khan as the President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party. Aamir Mehmood Kiyani as Secretary General. Awn Chaudhary as Additional Secretary General & Spokesperson of the Party as well as of the Patron-in-Chief.

IPP was officially launched on June 8 during a press conference led by Tareen in Lahore.
