Anti-PPP coalition in the works in Sindh

federal budget

KARACHI: In the province of Sindh, a notable political development is underway as several parties have initiated discussions to forge an alliance aimed at challenging the dominance of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Reliable sources indicate that consultations have been taking place between key players including the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM), Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) within the political landscape of Sindh.

These sources also suggest that during the meetings involving delegations from MQM, GDA, and JUI, consensus has been reached on several crucial points. One of the primary agreements is the intention to present a unified candidate across the entire province of Sindh to challenge the PPP’s stronghold.

However, it’s worth noting that MQM sources have indicated that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement will not be a part of any such political alliance.
