ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, spouse of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, has vowed that she will continue to struggle for her husband’s release till her last breath.
Addressing workers at Burhan Interchange on a container, Bushra Bibi said, “My brothers and children until Imran Khan comes back to us we will not end this protest. I am standing here till my last breath.”
“Even if no one stands with me, I will stand alone for this struggle,” she said.

Asking the workers for their support, she said this fight is not just for my husband but its for the leader of this country.
“I am sure Pathans being honourable people they will not abandon this cause for their country”, Bibi said.
She ended her speech with takbeer “Allahhu Akbar”.
Earlier there were reports of clash between Bushra Bibi and KP CM Gandapur over who would lead the protest rally from Peshawar. However Sheikh Waqas Akram has denied the news and said that the former first lady was also part of the PTI protest convoy from Peshawar, and traveling by a separate vehicle.
In a post on social media website X he said, “Bushra Bibi is traveling alongside party workers, and could not leave workers alone at this crucial moment.
She has emphasised that if the PTI expected families to join the workers in the protest, then Imran Khan’s family would be the first to lead by example,” said Akram.
