ISLAMABAD: The private schools in Islamabad are all set to reopen from Monday (January 6th ) as per schedule and there will be no extension in winter holidays.
Due to the cold weather, many parents were speculating that winter vacations might be extended in schools and had expressed concern sending their children to school under such harsh conditions.
However, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has clarified that the current schedule would remain unchanged despite persistent cold weather in Islamabad and surrounding areas.
The schools being run under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will also resume classes from January 9, 2025.
Winter holidays in schools across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) have been extended due to the persistent cold wave in the region.
