Army Chief meets with Saudi Crown Prince, discuss military cooperation among other matters


Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir held a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in Riyad.

RIYAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir held a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Tuesday.

The army chief’s visit to the kingdom on Tuesday was met with a warm reception from the Saudi crown prince at his royal residence.

According to reports, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, and regional and global challenges threatening their respective countries.

During the meeting, the leaders agreed on enhancing military and defense cooperation between their countries. Both agreed to further strengthen cooperation across various sectors.

The Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, along with ambassadors representing both countries, also attended the meeting.
