Army to be deployed across the country for Muharram security

ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry has decided to deploy army across the country as part of security measures for Muharram

A decision has been made to deploy the army across the country under Article 245, according to an official notification.

The Ministry of Interior has issued orders for the army deployment, stating that the forces will be deployed to assist the civil administration.

The Ministry of Interior has issued directives to all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

The deployment of the army is being carried out at the request of the provincial governments, as well as the governments of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The notification highlights that this measure aims to assist in maintaining law and order and ensuring security in these regions.

The army ill be able to take control of any area at the behest of the civil administration.
