ATC orders Marriyum Aurangzeb’s arrest for inflammatory speech

LAHORE: The anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore ordered the arrest and production of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb.

The court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against the former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, on the charges of making a provocative speech.

The court also directed the SHO concerned to execute the warrant, and arrest and produce Marriyum Aurangzeb in ATC on December 9.

Earlier, on November 25, ATC Judge Abher Gul Khan issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Marriyum Aurangzeb for non-appearance. The police have registered a case against Marriyum Aurangzeb and Javed Latif and others for making inflammatory speech.
