ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan in two cases on Tuesday (tomorrow) at 9 am.
According to Hum News, a summons notice has been issued to the PTI chief in case number 143/23 and case number 143/22.
Apart from this, the former prime minister has also been summoned in three other cases by the same court.
In all the cases, summon notices have been sent to Khan on his Zaman Park, Lahore, residential address.
The two cases in which Khan has been summoned tomorrow are related to violence at the Judicial Complex. Khan and several leaders of his party were booked for their alleged attack on security personnel, rioting, obstructing public servants, assault, criminal intimidation and other felonies.
Khan is facing over 100 cases since being removed from power in 2022. He has claimed that there was 80 per cent chance of his arrest in Islamabad.
He has also accused the government of using the anti-terrorism laws to suppress his party. He has denied any involvement in the violence.
