Balochistan MPA passes away after prolonged illness

QUETTA: S M Patrick, a member of the Balochistan Assembly representing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on a minority seat, has passed away after a lengthy illness. He had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi for some time.
His family confirmed that he had been unwell for an extended period before his death.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti expressed his sorrow over the loss, describing SM Patrick as a dedicated political and social figure. In his tribute, the chief minister highlighted Patrick’s contributions to the province.
The chief minister also said that the late MPA had always played an active role in the social development of the region and worked tirelessly for the welfare of minority communities.
