Balochistan’s seismic shift: scores of bigwigs join PML-N

QUETTA: In a seismic shift within Balochistan’s political spectrum, dozens of influential figures from various parties and backgrounds announced their allegiance to the Pakistan Muslim League (N).

The significant influx included former chief minister Jam Kamal and a cohort of former federal ministers.

The roster of new entrants into the PML-N boasted names like former federal ministers Sardar Fateh Mohammad Husni, Mujibur Rahman Mohammad Husni, Mir Asim Kurd, and Mir Dostin Domki, reflecting a diverse and experienced addition to the party’s ranks.

Former minister Khan Muhammad Jamali, Faiq Jamali, Ghafoor Lahri, Muhammad Khan Lahri, Salim Khosa, Shoaib Noshirwani, Zeen Magsi, Sardar Abdul Rehman Kehitrani, Sardar Masood Loni, Muhammad Khan Toor Usman Khel were among the prominent figures making the strategic move to join the PML-N.

The extensive list also included individuals such as Noor Mohammad Damar, Sher Gul Khalji, Haji Barkat Rand, Shaukat Bengalzai, Attaullah, Rababa Bilidi, Mir Anwar Shahwani, Sardar Ali Haider M Husni, Jafar Karim Bangar, Sardarzada Idris Taj, Agha Faisal Ahmadzai, Malik Shehryar, Ramin M Husni, and Haji Noorullah Lahri.

High-profile individuals such as Saeedul Hasan Atif Sanjrani, Dr Ashok Kumar, Dr Muhammad Ayub Baloch, Mir Ismail Baloch, Mir Tariq Bugti, Basant Lal Gulshan, and Muhammad Kashif, along with a host of others, also joined the growing ranks of the PML-N.

Following thorough consultations and contacts with the leadership, the formal announcement of their joining came to fruition in the presence of PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif extended warm congratulations to the political personalities of Balochistan, expressing delight at their decision to join the party.

As these political heavyweights align with the PMl-N, the political dynamics of Balochistan are poised for a substantial transformation, setting the stage for a new chapter in the region’s political narrative.
