PESHAWAR: In the aftermath of the recent Battagram chairlift incident involving stranded schoolchildren, local law enforcement has swiftly moved to prevent any recurrence of such events.
On Tuesday an open cable car in Battagram became stranded halfway across a ravine and was hanging by a single cable after the other snapped, leaving eight people, including school children, stuck inside for more than 15 hours.
