BISE Lahore starts digitisation of degrees

LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has begun the process of digitalizing academic degrees, according to a board spokesperson.

According to the spokesperson, all certificates issued by the board will now feature a QR code.The QR code will allow online verification of degrees.

Federal and Sindh governments aligned on Uraan Pakistan

Roll number slips and result cards will also be digitalised using QR codes.The purpose of adding QR codes is to eliminate the production of fake documents, the spokesperson said.

Online records obtained through the QR code will serve as a means of verification.

Institutions requiring degree verification through the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will still need to fulfill that requirement, the spokesperson clarified.
