BISP launches WhatsApp channel

ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has introduced a WhatsApp channel to assist beneficiaries and the public, aiming to share program details and counter misinformation.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to join the official channel via a provided web link.

Additionally, BISP has partnered with the National Telecommunication Corporation to launch a modern call center, offering genuine program information and addressing grievances.

Citizens can reach the call center at 080026477 for complaints or inquiries. BISP plans to deploy Mobile Registration Vehicle Centers to aid registration in remote areas, enhancing accessibility for deserving women.

The induction process for these Mobile Vans, initiated in August, is nearing completion, according to an official source.
