At least 44 Pakistanis feared dead in Spain boat wreck
During their three-to-four-day visit, the team will meet Pakistani survivors of the incident and investigate allegations of violence and murder against Pakistani citizens.
Officials stated that survivor testimonies would play a crucial role in identifying the culprits.
Initial reports reveal that the boat, which capsized near Morocco’s coast, had at least 86 passengers on board, including 66 Pakistanis. The number of survivors and those still missing remains unclear.
Authorities have pledged to crack down on human trafficking networks linked to the tragedy.
FEMALE HUMAN TRAFFICKER APPREHENDED
The FIA has arrested a female human trafficker, Ghulam Fatima, from Gujrat for her involvement in the Morocco boat tragedy.
Ghulam Fatima is the mother of Fahdi Gujar, the prime suspect in two cases related to the tragedy. She and her son had attempted to smuggle Ali Raza and Abu Bakar from Mauritania to Spain via boat.
Tragically, the vessel capsized, leading to the deaths of both individuals.
FIA officials confirmed that Ghulam Fatima has been taken into custody, and investigations are underway.
