Budget historic for youth, businesses and agriculture: PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that the government has presented a historic budget aimed at the youth, businesses and employment.

“The upcoming fiscal year will prove to be a year of increasing people’s incomes,” he said.

He said the federal budget focuses on economic stability and sustainable growth of industrial, agricultural, IT, and energy sectors. It also aims at new initiatives and loans to improve various industries.

The premier said that the government plans to distribute 100,000 laptops and small and discounted loans to the youth. “The youth is the future of the country and their betterment is our top priority”.

He said that the Rs200 billon package and incentives will help improve the agricultural sector and herald in the farmers’ upward journey . 

“The agricultural and business loans will contribute to the happiness of farmers, youth, and Pakistan as a whole”, said the premier.
