Bushra Bibi meets Imran Khan in Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI: Bushra Bibi met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in Adilala Jail on Eidul Fitr.

The meeting was arranged by the police on the orders of Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Bushra Bibi was shifted to Adiala Jail from Bani Gala sub-jail. The meeting was held in the Conference Room of Adiala Jail.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) had ordered to arrange Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi meeting on Eidul Fitr.

The court ordered the authorities to arrange Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s meeting on the occasion of Eid and a meeting was also allowed once a week.

Four PTI leaders released after arrest for holding rally

Meanwhile Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former premier Imran Khan offered Eidul Fitr prayers at the Central Jamia Masjid in Adiala jail on Wednesday.

According to prison sources, the former prime minister was accompanied by ex-foreign minister and detained PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

After the prayers, the PTI chief hugged Qureshi, and the two exchanged Eid wishes.

The prison officers were also present in the congregational prayers along with Imran.
