KARACHI: The traffic police have decided to install front and rear cameras on all dumpers and trucks to combat the rising accidents and fatalities involving these vehicles in Karachi.
This decision came during a meeting with the Goods Carrier Association, aiming to enhance traffic law enforcement and assess the causes of accidents.
The DIG Traffic emphasized the importance of these cameras for monitoring drivers and investigating incidents effectively.
He pointed out that a significant number of dumpers and trucks operate on the roads, and previous accident investigations have been hindered by lack of evidence.
