Car catches fire on M2 motorway, passengers rescued

ISLAMABAD: A car caught fire at Motorway M2 near Khanqan Dogra, luckily all the passengers were rescued safely.

According to Motorway police spokesperson, officers on routine patrolling spotted a car in flames near Khanqan Dogran and immediately took measures to douse off the fire and rescue the passengers.

As a result of their quick efforts, all five passengers of the car were rescued safely.

According to the police, the fire was the result of short circuit.

Additional IG Motorway police Ali Ahmed Sabir Kiani lauded the rescue work of the patrolling officers.
