Caretaker PM leaves for OIC Summit on Gaza Crisis in Riyadh

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has set off from Islamabad for a three-day official visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His visit is centered around representing Pakistan at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit, convened to address the pressing situation in Palestine.

During the summit, the interim PM is scheduled to engage with the heads of various participating countries to discuss and strategize responses to the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

Prior to this, the caretaker PM had also addressed the issue during the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO). He underscored the urgency for international condemnation and action against Israel’s relentless attacks on Gaza.

He also urged member countries to align their efforts with OIC and United Nations Security Council resolutions, advocating for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid.
