CDA auction 2023: CDA sells 15 plots for Rs 11.282 bln


ISLAMABAD,(APP): On the third day of the auction, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) successfully sold 15 plots, generating an impressive sum of Rs11.282 billion. In Sector F-6/4, the following plots were sold: Plot No. 1 at Rs44.35 million, Plot No. 2 at Rs24.847 million, Plot No. 3 at Rs27.34 million, Plot No. 4 at Rs31.01 million, Plot No. 5 at Rs40.52 million, and Plot No. 6 at Rs47.026 million, as per an official CDA press release.

In addition, a plot in Sector F-8/4 allocated for a fruit, vegetable, and meat shop fetched a remarkable Rs42.106 million during the auction. This four-day auction encompassed a diverse range of residential and commercial plots, catering to investments in class three shopping centres, agricultural farms, apartments, and industrial plots.

Notably, this auction marked a significant milestone as it included the sale of plots designated for hostels for the first time. The final day of the auction, featuring residential plots, is scheduled for Friday. Oversight of the auction process is diligently overseen by a dedicated committee led by a CDA member responsible for estate management. After a thorough evaluation, the received bids will be presented to the CDA board, which holds the authority to either approve or reject them, as outlined in the press release.

The concluding day of the plot auction is set for October 20th, and it will take place at the prestigious Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad, according to the CDA’s official announcement.
