Child dies after falling into manhole at Children’s hospital

LAHORE: In a tragic accident, a three-year-old child died when he fell into an open manhole at the Children’s Hospital in Lahore.

According to the police, the parents of the three-year-old child brought the child for a checkup at the Children’s Hospital. He fell into the open manhole while he was playing at a park near the admin office.

Schools in Rawalpindi Division to open from tomorrow

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the secretary of health. The CM has condoled with the bereaved family over the death of their child.

She said that an open manhole is a matter of criminal negligence and legal action will be taken against those responsible.
