Chinese PM, President felicitate newly elected PM Shebaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang have extended congratulations to Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the 24th Prime Minister of Pakistan.

“It is hoped that Pakistan will achieve further success,” said Xi Jinping.

“We must strengthen exchanges and cooperation in all fields,” added President Xi Jinping.

“As a joint effort, China and Pakistan need to upgrade and enhance economic cooperation,” emphasized the Chinese President.

The Chinese Prime Minister also conveyed his congratulations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
