Citizens lose phones and shoes to armed robbers in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A shocking robbery occurred near the Parade Ground in Islamabad, where thieves not only stole citizens’ mobile phones but also took their personal belongings, including shoes.

The police quickly responded to the incident, officially recording the case at the Aabpara Police Station. Victims came forward, reporting the loss of their belongings and seeking justice for what they went through.

Eyewitnesses described a group of five friends having a meal near the crossing bridge during Iftar time when the robbers suddenly appeared.

According to police reports, three armed men forcibly took six mobile phones and shoes from the victims, leaving them frightened and distressed.

This robbery raises concerns for the citizens, highlighting the fact that even in the federal capital, safety is not assured.

The occurrence of such incidents during the holy month of Ramazan adds to the worry and distress felt by the community.
