WEB DESK: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir engaged with trainee officers of the 52nd Common at the Civil Services Academy, pointing out the critical role of a competent, transparent, and public-friendly bureaucracy in the country’s governance framework.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the officers underwent a comprehensive training program, including attachments with Pakistan Army formations in operational areas of Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. This exposure allowed them to gain firsthand experience of the armed forces’ operational dynamics across all three services.

Addressing the officers, Field Marshal Munir underscored the importance of upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and patriotism. “Serving the nation must remain your foremost priority,” he stated, urging the future civil servants to align their efforts with Pakistan’s strategic and developmental goals. He further highlighted the necessity of inter-institutional harmony for achieving national objectives.

The session also provided participants with insights into the Pakistan Army’s strategic vision and operational preparedness. The ISPR noted that the interaction fostered constructive dialogue, reinforcing a shared commitment to collective responsibility and sustainable progress.

The meeting was part of broader efforts to strengthen institutional coordination and mutual understanding between civil and military leadership, ensuring a unified approach to national security and governance challenges.
