Clearance operation conducted in North Waziristan to eliminate foreign agitators

RAWALPINDI: Forces conducted operation in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan upon receiving information about presence of foreign instigators in the area. According to a statement by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an effective operation on the hideouts of foreigners.
Six foreign agitators were killed during the operation, the ISPR said. During the operation, two soldiers also embraced martyrdom, the ISPR statement added.
Major Hamza Israr and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem were martyred in the exchange of fire. Major Hamza Israr Shaheed was 29 years old and belonged to the Rawalpindi district. He performed the duty of defending the homeland for nine years. He had recently gotten married.
Reshuffle of high-level officers in Islamabad police notified
Sepoy Muhammad Naeem Shaheed was 26 years old and a resident of Nasirabad District. He had been serving in the Pakistan Army for six years, the ISPR said.
The ISPR said that sanitation operation is underway to eliminate other foreigners present in the area.
The forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from Pakistan. The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve, the ISPR said.
