Close aid of PML-N office bearer killed

LAHORE: A PML-N district president’s close companion was killed by the firing of some unknown persons in Hafizabad on Saturday.

According to media reports, some unidentified people barged into the Dera of Waseem Razzaq who was an old close friend of PML-N Hafizabad President Ch Muhammad Bakhsh Tarar.

The intruders opened indiscriminate fire after entering the Dera situated in Thatta Jahid Hasanwala. As a result, the owner of the Dera, Mr Razzaq was killed on the spot.

According to eyewitnesses, three armed men gatecrashed and opened fire.

Police shifted the dead body to the city morgue and started raiding places to apprehend the culprits.
