RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has extended an iftari invitation to the Pakistani cricket team players currently undergoing training at the Kakul camp.

The rigorous training regimen at the Kakul camp, where the national cricket squad has been aiming to unlock and achieve their potential, is set to culminate before April 8.

Local media reports say that April 7 will likely be the concluding day of the Kakul training camp for the Pakistani players.

After the completion of the training, the players will depart from Abbottabad to Rawalpindi, where they will attend iftari with the army chief.
