Crackdown on hoarders, smugglers persists in Sindh

KARACHI: Security forces in Sindh are actively pursuing operations against smuggling and hoarding, achieving significant success in recent efforts.
Numerous smugglers and hoarders have been apprehended in various operations, and stringent legal measures are being implemented against all those involved in criminal activities.
Items recovered from these operations, carried out in Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, and Qamber Shadadkot, include a total of 331,700 sacks of wheat. Additionally, 10,900 sacks of sugar were seized from Khairpur and Nawabshah.
Pakistan Rangers seize 140,000 bags of sugar in anti-hoarding operation
Consignments from Khairpur, Sanghar, and Ghotki yielded 5,750 sacks of urea, while 1,000 sacks of fertilizer were recovered from Qamber Shaddadkot. Moreover, 83,200 liters of edible oil were confiscated in Khairpur.
As part of the ongoing efforts to steer the country out of its economic crisis, security forces are committed to persisting with operations and legal actions against hoarders and smugglers.
