Crime surge in Islamabad over Eid: 71 cases reported

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad experienced a significant rise in crime during the three days of Eid, with 71 serious incidents reported.

According to police data, 44 incidents of theft, robbery, and snatching resulted in citizens losing valuable goods worth tens of millions of rupees.

There were also 23 incidents of motorcycle theft and one incident involving the theft of a valuable vehicle.

Tragically, one person was killed and several others were injured during this period as well.
