Dar updates Chinese chargé d’affaires on talks with IMF

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and chargé d’affaires of the Chinese embassy Pang Chunxue, on Monday, discussed options available to both countries to further enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Accoring to a media hand out by the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs (MoFA), Dar updated the Chunxue about the progress on talks with IMF and apprised her about the positive response of the various sectors on the new budget presented “despite difficult economic circumstances”.

The Chinese chargé d’affaires also assured of continuous support from the Chinese Government to the people of Pakistan according to MoFA
