Daytime temperatures rise, rain predicted after March 20

ISLAMABAD: Daytime temperatures are continuing to creep up in the entire country, paving the way for the summer season. However, rain is predicted in the coming days in several areas of the country, providing relief to the masses.
According to meteorological experts, the hot and dry spell is predicted to persist till March 20, after which there is a chance of rain, which will bring the mercury down.
In Punjab the weather will remain dry, the day temperatures will continue to rise however the nights will remain cooler.

Lahore continues to be the world’s second most polluted city in the world with an AQI of 264.
In several districts of Balochistan, the weather is predicted to remain partially cloudy. Weather in Murree and Galiat will remain dry and sunny.
Weather outlook for KP is cold and dry while districts of Kashmir will also experience dry and cold weather.
In Sindh, temperatures will continue to increase.
Temperatures of major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad and Gilgit ten degree centigrade, Lahore eighteen, Karachi twenty-three, Peshawar fifteen, Quetta eleven, Murree six and Muzafarabad twelve degree centigrade.
