Delegation of Sikh pilgrims from UK arrive in Pakpattan


A delegation of Sikh pilgrims from the United Kingdom (UK)  arrived in Pakpattan to visit holy religious sites on Tuesday,

PAKPATTAN: A delegation of Sikh pilgrims from the United Kingdom (UK)  arrived in Pakpattan to visit holy religious sites on Tuesday,

The Sikh delegation visited the religious sites including the shrine of the revered Baba Fariduddin Mason Ganj Shakar.

The pilgrims were warmly welcomed by officials from the Auqaf and Religious Affairs department, who had facilitated their visit tp the historic site.

During their stay, the Sikh delegations also visited the Taba Nanak Sir Gurdwara Sarupa Sahib, another important location for the Sikh community.

The visit is part of the pilgrims’ spiritual journey, allowing them to connect with their heritage and pay homage to their religious figures.

In light of the delegation’s arrival, local authorities implemented strict security arrangements to ensure the safety and well-being of the Sikh pilgrims throughout their visit.

The police presence was heightened around the pilgrimage sites.
