‘Digital terrorism’ conspiracy against state institutions: corps commanders

ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir chaired the 265th Corps Commanders Conference, which took into account the overall security situation and various aspects of national stability.

According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public relations (ISPR), the forum paid tribute to the martyrs, the Pakistan army, other law enforcement agencies, and Pakistani citizens for their eternal sacrifices for peace and stability.

The conference featured a detailed discussion on “Azm-e-Istehkam operation” as a crucial element in the counter-terrorism strategy. Emphasizing sustainable stability and economic prosperity, the forum highlighted the need to end the nexus of terrorism and illegal activities.

Expressing concern over unjustified criticism and speculations from certain circles, the forum underscored the importance of ” Azm-e-Istehkam operation ” in achieving specific interests.

The forum reiterated its commitment to regional security, particularly in Afghanistan, and the promotion of regional peace and security. Participants also expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir and Palestine, condemning serious human rights violations, war crimes, and genocide in Kashmir and Gaza.

Acknowledging the nation’s challenges, the military leadership affirmed their efforts for sustainable solutions within constitutional limits, with the support of the people.

The conference participants termed ongoing digital terrorism as a conspiracy against state institutions aimed at fulfilling political ambitions.

Highlighting the role of external anti-state powers in sponsoring digital terrorism, the forum noted the spread of lies, fake news, and propaganda to create disillusionment. However, the Pakistani forces and nation remain aware and united to defeat these nefarious intentions.

Reaffirming support for the government’s efforts to restore investors’ confidence and economic growth, the forum expressed full backing for ongoing social and economic development initiatives.

“The Pakistan army has always been prepared to defeat all internal and external challenges,” stated Army Chief Asim Munir.

He stressed maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational readiness, adding, “Despite the challenges faced, the Pakistan army will continue to play its full role in the stability and prosperity of Pakistan.”
