Diplomatic visits: Caretaker CM Punjab leaves for China

LAHORE: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has left for a five-day official visit to China with a focus on fostering economic and technological cooperation.

Earlier today, the interim prime minister also left for the US on a diplomatic visit. He is scheduled to address the General Assembly session on Friday.

During his visit, the interim CM Naqvi is scheduled to hold meetings with Chinese traders, investment firms, and industrial leaders. Additionally, he will engage in discussions with Chinese authorities to explore avenues for collaboration in the fields of agriculture and information technology.

An official statement highlighted the objective of this diplomatic mission, which aims to identify opportunities for mutual growth and partnership between Punjab and China.

“The visit to China will give an opportunity to provide better facilities to the people of Punjab”, Mohsen Naqvi said ahead of his departure on Sunday.
