Doctor abducted from DHA Lahore

LAHORE: Doctor Tahir Jameel, a prominent doctor, was allegedly kidnapped from Lahore’s posh area of Defence, prompting a swift response from city police.

DIG Operations Faisal Kamran reached the scene, examined evidence in detail, and met with the victim’s family, assuring them of the doctor’s safe and early recovery.

According to the police spokesperson, Doctor Tahir Jameel, 62, a resident of DHA Phase 6, was returning home from his clinic when two men on a motorcycle intercepted him and took him away.

DIG Faisal Kamran directed the investigation team to arrest the suspects quickly and recover the abductee safely.

He said this kidnapping was being treated as a “red line” and vowed to bring the culprits to justice.

Police teams have started reviewing all evidence, including an ambulance recovered from the scene. Kamran added that all resources will be used to ensure the kidnappers are caught and held accountable.

An FIR has been registered and investigations are underway. The concerned SP and other officers were also present at the scene.
