Doctors dilemma: 66 per cent fee hike for PG entry test

LAHORE: The Punjab Health Department has significantly increased the entry test fee for postgraduate (PG) medical programs.

According to the notification, aspiring doctors will now have to pay a hefty Rs 10,000 to appear for the MS and MD entrance exams, a 66 per cent hike from the previous fee of Rs 6,000.

The notification about the fee hike was issued following approval in the inter-university board meeting.

According to the new guidelines, King Edward Medical University will administer the admission tests for various programs.
