Driver runs over traffic warden after being ticketed

PESHAWAR: An angry driver ran over a traffic warden in the city area after he was given a ticket for over-speeding

According to CCTV footage, it can be seen that the driver hit several traffic wardens who were standing by and fled from the scene.

Additionally, police reported that the warden attempting to halt the vehicle was knocked onto the bumper and sustained severe injuries. He was taken to the hospital immediately.

The police have registered a case and have started a search to apprehend the driver and his accomplices.
