Dry weather predicted for Tuesday across Pakistan, except GB

WEB DESK: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the scorching heat is set to persist across much of Pakistan today, with dry conditions dominating in most regions.

However, residents of Gilgit-Baltistan should brace themselves for a different weather, as the forecast predicts partly cloudy skies accompanied by sporadic light rain and thunder in certain areas.

Going into specific areas, the capital city of Islamabad and the surrounding regions will see the day unfold with hot and dry conditions.

Across Punjab, a similar pattern emerges, with most districts experiencing dry heat. Notably, areas such as Murree and Galiyat will not have any rain today, though a gradual uptick in daytime temperatures is anticipated across the plains.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is set for a day marked by hot and dry weather, particularly in most districts. However, southern regions may witness a gradual increase in temperature as the day progresses.

Sindh, too, finds itself under the sway of scorching temperatures, with dry weather prevailing across most districts. Expect a gradual increase in temperatures during the day here as well.

Balochistan mirrors the weather trends, with hot and dry conditions anticipated throughout the province. Southern districts, in particular, will experience a gradual rise in temperatures.

Up north as well, in Kashmir, the forecast remains consistent with dry weather expected to prevail throughout the day.

However, in Gilgit-Baltistan, residents should prepare for a departure from the usual as partly cloudy skies may give way to light rain accompanied by thunder in isolated areas.
